Bacon is Back!

Meat Restocked!

We will be picking up the fresh cuts from a steer and a hog that we had butchered.  They will be available for sale on Saturday December 24, from 9am to Noon.  We will have the smoked items the following Saturday, December 31, from 9am to Noon.  Our egg production has increased as well so we should have what you need.  If you have any questions or want to check on quantities please send of an email or give us a call!

R-Farm Will Be Open!

Our on-farm store will be open every Saturday for the rest of December, including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, from 9am to Noon.  Please come in and check us out!  We will be butchering a steer and some hogs that will be ready near the end of the month.  I will post dates when I have them.  If you have any questions please feel free to call or email. 
Also, we have had a lot of baby pigs over the last week or so and I will try to post some pics so everyone can check them out.

We restocked the Beef and Pork!

We will be picking up some animals from the butcher for this weekend so we should be well stocked.  After we pick everything up, I will update the products page so everyone knows what we've got.  We will be open from 9am to Noon on Saturday.  See you there!

Welcome Charlotte Louise!

We welcomed our newest addition, Charlotte Louise, on September 26, 2011 at 3:43pm.  She is beautiful and doing great.  She has two very excited big brothers who can't get enough of her and she doesn't seem to mind.
It's going to be a hectic fall, but worth every minute.  See you at the Farm!

R-Farm Will be Closed September 24, 2011

We will be closed on September 24th in anticipation of our new baby.  We will be picking up the meat from Detjen's the following Thursday, September 29th and will be open for normal hours on October 1st.  We will be getting a steer and a hog back so we should be fully stocked when we re-open.  We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to to see you on the 1st.  We really appreciate everyone's patience as we prepare to add to our family.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email.

New Butcher Date Scheduled

We have another butcher date scheduled for September 15, 2011.  We are planning on getting a steer and a hog done so the meat will be available the following weekend, September 24, 2011.  We will not have bacon and other smoked items until October 1, 2011.  Sorry for any inconvenience. 
Also, as many many of you know, we are expecting our third child very soon and if interferes with the meat pick-up in any way, we will do our best to keep you posted here.  Hopefully, it won't be an issue, but we have to go by baby's schedule.  :)

Beef and Pork Available Saturday!

Beef and Pork will be restocked and ready for sale on Saturday.  We will be picking up all the fresh cuts so it will be another week for the smoked items such as bacon.  I will update the products page after we pick up the meat on Friday so I know exactly what we will have.  We also had chickens butchered recently so we have plenty for sale.  We had some stewing hens done as well as the meat birds. 
 
We will be open from 9am to Noon on Saturday so come and see us!  Let us know if you have any questions!

Hogs Butchered

We will be picking up another hog from the butcher on Thursday.  The meat from this hog will be available for sale Saturday, July 23 during our regular store hours (9am to noon.)  We are getting low again  on beef, but we still have roasts, summer sausage and other cuts.  Check our products page for an updated list of what will be available tomorrow, July 16.  If you have any questions be sure to let us know! We Have Meat!!!!!!!!!

More Meat Coming Soon!

We scheduled a butcher date for June 16 so we will have a lot more beef and pork available soon.  It takes about a week to get the fresh cuts back and then another week to get the smoked items.  I will update the product page when we pick up the first batch of meat so you know what is available.  We should be butchering regularly through the summer so hopefully we won't run out like this again.  Thanks for you patience and we look forward to filling your freezers!

Getting Low on Beef

We are getting pretty low on beef right now, but we still have plenty of pork in stock.  We should be able to take a steer in sometime next month.  We will post the butcher date as soon as it is scheduled to keep you posted.  We are open from 9am to Noon every Saturday until the end of November.  If you have any questions feel free to give us a call. R-Farm is now open every Saturday!

Our regular hours have now started and we will be open EVERY Saturday from 9am to 12pm.  We won't be making weekly posts about the hours anymore, but will still put reminder posts up when we have animals butchered.  If for some reason we do have to close, we will post it here as soon as possible or we will put a sign on the door of the store.  It is usually only in emergencies that we have to close so sometimes there isn't time to post online.  Thank you for being great customers and hope to see you on Saturday!

R-Farm will be open Saturday, March 5, 2011

We will be open this Saturday from 9am to 12pm.  We have a large supply of pork and still have quite a bit of beef.  There are also whole and cut-up chickens.  Eggs are available in very limited quantities at the moment, but we make our weekly egg delivery every Saturday so you can pick them up at the following locations:

Wales Lawn and Garden, Hwy 18, Wales, WI

Welcome to the new R-Farm website!

   R-Farm would like to welcome you to our new website!  This site has all the same information that the old site had and uses the same web address*, so there is nothing new to remember.It is a lot easier to update because it has more of a blog-type style.  We will be adding to it on a much more regular basis with pictures and information on what is happening on the farm.  Please feel free to leave comments to any of our posts, we enjoy hearing from you!  If there is something you would like to see on the site send us an email and we will try to incorporate it into the site.
