We will be open this Saturday from 9am to Noon. We picked up a steer and a hog today so everything is restocked. Take a look at our products page for a full list of everything we have available. Open Saturday!
We will be open Saturday July 14th from 9am to Noon. We have a nice selection of beef and pork and a lot of chickens, both whole and 8pc. cut-up. We will also have eggs available. We had to stop our off-farm deliveries and sell eggs from the farm only for the time being. We still have about half of our flock left so there are plenty of eggs to buy at the farm, just not enough to do both. We are holding off on replacing our birds for now due to the heat and the dry weather. If our crops don't get some water soon, the yield just isn't going to be what it needs to be to feed all the chickens and pigs, especially if we replace the birds we lost. We are waiting to see what the weather and crops do before we make a decision about the laying hens. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hope to see you at the farm on Saturday!

Important Message From R-Farm
On June 28 we experienced unseasonably hot weather with record heat indices.
While we take precautions to protect our animals from weather extremes sometimes nature gets the upper hand. As a result of the extreme heat on Thursday June 28 we had approximately half of our laying hen flock die.
The result of this is that we now do not have enough eggs to continue supplying our off farm retail egg customers. We are suspending sales of eggs at Wales Lawn and Garden and The Paperchase Gas Station in Dousman until we can replace the hens we lost.
It takes approximately 6 months to raise a hen from a chick and while it is possible to buy hens that are already laying they are not always readily available. We also need to consider our feed supply going forward, with the dry weather we are experiencing this year we are concerned we may not have enough feed for next year.
We appreciate your Patronage and look forward to supplying you eggs again in the future. Please bear with us while we work through this traumatic event.
We will post updates on our website and Facebook page about egg availability. For now we will be selling eggs only at the farm at W394 S4398 Hwy Z, Dousman. Our regular hours are Saturdays 9 am until noon. You can also make an appointment for other times during the week.

R-Farm Open June 16th
We will be open this Saturday from 9am to Noon. We had a pretty big turnout last weekend so we are sold out of some things again, but we still have a lot left. Steaks, roasts, pork chops, bacon, chickens and asparagus among them. We have a butcher date for June 21 and will be restocking our beef supply. Baby Pigs!

R-Farm will be open Saturday, March 3 from 9am to noon. We would like to thank everyone who came out last week as it turned out to be the busiest Saturday we've ever had! We appreciate that you drive out to see us and look forward to providing you with meat and eggs far in to the future.
We are little low on beef at the moment but we still have plenty of pork, chicken and eggs. We have whole, 8pc cut-up and soup chickens. We are currently taking deposits for soup chickens. They are available for $7ea butchered and $5ea live. We would like to get the butcher price down, but we would need to take in a large number of birds to offset the processing costs. If you are interested in soup chickens, please call and let us know or you can talk to us at the store on Saturday.

We will be open again this Saturday from 9am to Noon. Please see our products page to see what we have in stock. If you like a hearty bowl of chicken soup during the winter, try our soup chickens. They have a deep, rich flavor that is great for stock and they have plenty of meat to make a great soup. We also have a lot of broiler chickens and 8pc cut-ups.
